A structure that works
Use 3 short paragraphs:
- Context (what is the situation?)
- Details (2–4 key points)
- Closing (final sentence, request, conclusion)
B1 connectors
Connectors make your writing feel coherent. Pick 6 and reuse them.

Example 1: describe your routine
Di solito mi sveglio presto e faccio colazione a casa. Poi vado al lavoro e torno nel pomeriggio. La sera cucino e parlo con la mia famiglia. Nel fine settimana mi piace riposare e fare una passeggiata. In conclusione cerco di avere una vita equilibrata.
Example 2: a simple problem and a solution
Ieri ho avuto un problema con i mezzi pubblici perché il treno era in ritardo. Quindi sono arrivato/a tardi al lavoro. Ho parlato con il mio capo e ho spiegato la situazione. Alla fine tutto è andato bene. In futuro partirò prima per evitare problemi.
Example 3: opinion + reasons
Secondo me imparare l’italiano è importante perché aiuta a comunicare meglio e a capire la cultura. Inoltre è utile per il lavoro e per la vita quotidiana. Per esempio posso parlare con i vicini e fare pratiche in modo più facile. In conclusione studiare ogni giorno è una buona idea.
